A Bridge for Technical Exchange and Business Cooperation - A Documentary of Iraq Refinery Inspection
In the golden autumn of October, we welcomed the visit of a technical delegation from an Iraqi refinery. These energy experts from the banks of the Tigris River, with a strong interest in our factory's advanced pipe production technology, entered the core area of our modern industrial park.
Under the leadership of Chief Engineer Cheng Dong, the inspection personnel first visited the pipe fitting production workshop. When they saw the meticulous work attitude of our production and technical personnel for elbows, tees, size heads, and other pipe fittings, the inspectors nodded frequently, especially giving high praise to our factory's large hydraulic presses, multiple heat treatment furnaces, and grinding robots. In the heat treatment zone, both parties had in-depth discussions on the heat treatment temperature and time. Our factory engineers demonstrated through explanations and actual demonstrations by workers that our pipe fittings were produced strictly according to standard procedures.
During the discussion and exchange session, Iraqi experts paid special attention to the quality, delivery time, and price of pipe fittings. And we are quite satisfied with the quality of our pipe fittings. Subsequently, our production department head and Iraqi experts formulated a detailed production plan and production cycle. Our overseas market director Sunny Yang reached an agreement with the purchasing department head of the Iraqi refinery on the price issue. Iraqi inspectors expressed their hope for long-term and deeper cooperation in pipe fitting products in the future.
This inspection is not only a technical demonstration, but also a bridge for China Iran energy cooperation. Before the inspection team left, both parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and two purchase orders, and agreed to establish a regular communication mechanism in all aspects in the later stage. When the Iraqi experts boarded the return vehicle, the sunset outside the window was casting a layer of gold on the factory area, and this steel forest witnessed the solid steps of Chinese manufacturing towards the world.
